XARMOC SPIRE
A downloadable game for Windows
Step into the mystical (and well worn) shoes of Arzoc, a formidable wizard hailing from the enchanting realm of Archon. Whispers have swept through the northern reaches of Balerook Hold, murmurs of a nefarious warlock wreaking havoc under the sinister moniker "Xarmoc." Disturbing tales circulate about villagers venturing into a nearby enigmatic spire, never to reemerge. It's up to YOU to unravel the mysteries within, conquer the malevolence, and emerge unscathed.
Created back in 2018 for a school project, XARMOC SPIRE is the first game I ever made. I spent about a month working on it using Game Maker Studio 2, finishing on 04/09/18.
- Top-Down Pixelated Action: Featuring state-of-the-art pixel graphics made by yours truly (as a 16 year old), this action packed adventure will keep you wanting to blast just one more Slime with your powerful "Fireblast" spell.
- High-Scores: Every action rewards you with points. From flaming Slimes to finding chests, see how high your score can get!
- Hidden Secrets: Look out for the hidden passageways, invisible walls, and secret teleports found within each level.
- 5 Challenging Stages: Race your way up the 5 unique floors of the titular Xarmoc Spire, starting with the wooden basement and climbing up to the polished stone chambers.
- One Hit, One Life: As a old wizard, you lack the constitution of your younger years. As such, while you are formidable with a spell book, you are less well suited for taking direct hits. ANY damage you receive will end your journey up the spire.
- Boss Fight: If you manage to make it to the final floor at the top of the spire you can face the mighty Xarmoc himself!
